Job Description:
As a member of the Software Engineering team, you will be responsible for the full life cycle of Luna Insight® software development.

This includes:

• requirement analysis
• design
• implementation
• testing
• maintenance

• Generate functional specifications
• Develop solid and flexible architecture and design
• Deliver high quality code on schedule
• Assist in QA & testing software products
• Provide technical information to assist in the development of product documentation
• Work closely with technical support to provide speedy, high quality support to customers
• Constantly look for ways to improve the user’s experience and lower the cost of ownership for Luna Insight software products.

Qualifications:
Must have more than 5 years of hands-on experience developing commercial enterprise software products based on n-tier architecture. Experience should include:

• More than 5 years hands-on experience with object oriented languages
• Strong working knowledge of XML and HTML as well as JavaScript is required.
• Minimum 3 years experience with Java, JSP.
• J2EE/Spring/Hibernate experience is a plus.
• Must have demonstrated expertise and more than 3 years applied experience using relational databases (i.e., Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL) with SQL language generated from application code.
• Must have good understanding and hands-on experience designing and implementing friendly UI on Windows XP/NT/2000 and UNIX.
• Experience on MAC is a plus.
• Experience with AJAX is desired.
• Capable of learning new technology quickly and working on multiple projects concurrently.
• Must possess strong problem solving abilities and good organizational skills, and work well in a team environment as well as independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including communicating technical information with customers as well as within the company.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required; MS in Computer Science is a plus
